Role Overview
The Senior AI Engineer designs and delivers highly scalable, next-generation AI products within Teradata’s AI stack.
The role contributes to product planning, design, execution, and the evolution of Teradata’s AI capabilities.
Core Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems, services, and applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineers and product partners to deliver end-to-end features.
- Build secure and maintainable RESTful APIs and implement efficient SQL and NoSQL data models.
- Apply AI/ML technologies, including agentic AI and large language models.
- Use AI-powered engineering tools to improve development quality and productivity.
- Mentor engineers and support technical planning, implementation, and best practices.
- Optimize code, design, and infrastructure to resolve performance bottlenecks.
- Write unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and investigate production issues.
