Role Overview
Serve as the technical anchor for the team by driving architecture decisions, leading presales engagements, and delivering high-quality AI-powered products at scale.

Architecture and Technical Leadership
- Design and own end-to-end AI/ML system architecture covering data pipelines, model serving, and API layers.
- Evaluate technology stacks, frameworks, and cloud services aligned with business goals.
- Lead architecture reviews, establish engineering standards, define CI/CD strategies, identify technical debt, and drive refactoring.
Presales and Client Engagement
- Act as the technical spokesperson in presales calls and explain AI product capabilities to non-technical stakeholders.
- Prepare technical demonstrations, solution walkthroughs, and proofs of concept for prospective clients.
- Collaborate with sales and product teams on technical proposals and RFP responses.
Development and Engineering
- Build and deploy production-grade AI/ML solutions, including LLM integrations, RAG pipelines, and AI agents.
- Write scalable, documented code using Python, APIs, and cloud-native services.
- Integrate AI capabilities with enterprise systems, third-party APIs, and SaaS platforms.
- Build evaluation and monitoring frameworks and drive MLOps for model versioning, retraining, and deployment.
Team and Operations
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers through code reviews, pair programming, knowledge sharing, and sprint planning.
- Collaborate with Product, Design, and QA to support seamless delivery and serve as the team's technical escalation point.
- Own production reliability and performance, monitor model drift, latency, and infrastructure health, and respond proactively to incidents.
- Maintain architecture diagrams, runbooks, API specifications, dependencies, and upgrade coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Have 4+ years of software development experience, including at least 2 years focused on AI/ML.
- Be proficient in Python, Node.js, React, LLMs, RAG, AI agents, prompt engineering, cloud platforms, REST APIs, containers, and CI/CD.
- Understand fine-tuning, embeddings, vector databases, distributed systems, microservices, event-driven architecture, and API gateway patterns.
- Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences and demonstrate ownership, collaboration, and mentoring ability.
Technical Stack
- Relevant technologies include LangChain, LlamaIndex, HuggingFace Transformers, FastAPI, Flask, Express.js, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure, Pinecone, Weaviate, ChromaDB, and pgvector.
Nice to Have
- Experience with multimodal AI, responsible AI, AI safety, model evaluation frameworks, open-source AI contributions, or published technical content is advantageous.
- Exposure to product-led growth, SaaS startups, Airflow, dbt, Spark, or similar data engineering tools is advantageous.
Compensation
- Pay starts at ₹450,000 per year.
