Your Opportunity
The Senior Advisor – eHealth Competence will help advance Clinical Informatics as a professional discipline across Alberta Health Services.
The role supports the eHealth Competency Program and broader informatics capability across the healthcare system.
The advisor reports to the Executive Director and partners with clinical, operational, educational, technical, and provincial stakeholders.
Role Accountabilities
- Provide strategic leadership for the eHealth Competency Program and its continuous improvement.
- Build collaborative relationships, identify capability needs, build consensus, and advance shared priorities.
- Translate organizational priorities into sustainable capability, professional development, and learning approaches.
- Lead competency frameworks, learning pathways, evaluation, and other capability-building initiatives.
- Promote leading practices, mentor others, facilitate knowledge sharing, and support evidence-informed decisions.
- Apply trends, innovation, evidence, and stakeholder feedback to strengthen Clinical Informatics practice.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant healthcare, education, information management, informatics, or related discipline.
