What will you bring?
○ You’ll be a qualified actuary with strong post-qualification experience, ideally gained within life, health or protection insurance. ○ You’ll bring strong pricing experience, with the technical confidence to review assumptions, investigate experience and make sound recommendations in a complex commercial environment. ○ You’ll have a degree-level education, ideally 2:1 or above, in a subject with significant mathematical or statistical content. ○ You’ll be highly numerate, comfortable working with data and pricing models, and confident using IT tools to support analysis and decision-making. ○ You’ll have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise reports and present technical recommendations to senior audiences. ○ You’ll be able to balance technical rigour with commercial judgement, managing competing priorities and delivering high-quality work under pressure. ○ You’ll bring curiosity and external market awareness, applying new ideas and industry insight to help improve pricing approaches and business outcomes. ○ You’ll have the leadership capability to coach, guide and develop actuarial colleagues, supporting both technical growth and career progression.
Location Hybrid working. 3 days in office, 2 days from home. From office locations in Dorking, London or Basingstoke. (Dorking location preferred for office days)
