Role Overview

The Senior Accounting Operations Analyst supports accurate and complete financial reporting through monthly close, GL consolidation, intercompany eliminations, internal controls, and operating expense analytics.

The role partners with Controllership, FP&A, IT, and Financial Systems and Analytics teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Work Location

  • The role is based in one of the U.S. hubs: Boston, New York, Seattle, or Scottsdale.
  • The schedule is hybrid, with onsite work Tuesday through Friday and flexibility to work remotely on Monday unless an approved accommodation applies.

What You'll Do

  • Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including GL consolidation, intercompany eliminations, and account reconciliations across multiple entities.
  • Perform analytical reviews of operating expenses and identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities.
  • Prepare and review P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis and explain variance drivers with FP&A and business partners.
  • Support OneStream rollout and adoption through data validation, process design, and monthly close reviews.
  • Partner with Accounting Operations, Revenue Accounting, FP&A, and IT on accurate, timely, and documented consolidated results.
  • Prepare and record journal entries for consolidations, eliminations, and other close activities.
  • Assist with SOX controls, internal control improvements, and procedure documentation.
  • Drive process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements to reduce manual spreadsheet work.
  • Support internal and external audits with requested documentation, reconciliations, and analysis.
  • Assist with special projects, ad hoc analyses, and finance transformation initiatives.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
  • CPA designation or progress toward CPA is preferred.
  • 3–6+ years of accounting experience, with GL consolidation experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong experience performing flux and variance analysis over the P&L and Balance Sheet.
  • Experience with consolidation and ERP tools; OneStream, HFM, or similar platforms are a plus.
  • Strong understanding of intercompany accounting and elimination processes in a multi-entity environment.
  • SaaS, technology, or multinational environment experience is a plus.
  • Experience partnering with FP&A, IT, and International Controllership teams.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with evolving processes and systems.
  • Advanced Excel skills; data analytics tools, Power BI, or reporting automation experience is a plus.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and 401(k) with employer match.
  • Discretionary paid time off and paid parental leave.
  • Medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Fitness programs, emotional and mental wellness support, and learning and development programs.
  • Employee Resource Groups and office snacks.
  • Benefits may vary depending on employment nature and work location.
