Role Overview

  • The Senior Consultant is responsible for leading and delivering accounting, financial reporting, and advisory engagements for the firm's clients across SMEs, Full IFRS and non profit organizations.
  • The role combines hands on technical work with client management and review of junior staff, ensuring all deliverables meet IFRS, IFRS for SMEs, and SOCPA adopted standards and KSA regulatory requirements (ZATCA, Companies Law).

Role Description

  • Preparation of financial statements under IFRS and IFRS for SMEs, ensuring accuracy and compliance with SOCPA adopted standards.
  • Manage client engagements end to end, including bookkeeping, payment process, reviewing and tracking trade receivable and payables, fixed assets management and the primary client relationship.
  • Provide technical accounting and financial reporting advice, including the application of specific IFRS standards to transactions.
  • Review and support the work of junior consultants and associates, provide training, and maintain quality control over deliverables.
  • Support ZATCA compliance work (Zakat, WHT, VAT) and coordinate with external auditors where required.
  • Prepare and present clear reports, memos, and recommendations to clients.
  • Identify additional service opportunities within existing client relationships and contribute to proposals.

Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in Financial Statements and Financial Reporting, with the ability to review and interpret complex reports.
  • 5–6 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or advisory services, preferably within a professional services or public accounting firm.
  • Solid foundation in Finance and Journal Entries (Accounting), including general ledger management and month end close activities.
  • Demonstrated Analytical Skills, with experience in data analysis, variance analysis, and identifying trends and risks.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, SOCPA) is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of relevant accounting standards and local regulations, including KSA specific requirements.
  • Advanced skills in accounting software and Excel, with attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Strong communication and client facing skills, with the ability to explain complex financial matters clearly.
  • Ability to work on site in Riyadh, manage multiple engagements, and collaborate effectively in a team based environment.
