Role Overview
The employer is seeking an experienced accountant in Dubai to manage company accounting, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax records, payroll, and monthly reporting.
Advanced QuickBooks experience is the most important requirement for this role.
Responsibilities
- Manage complete accounting in QuickBooks Online.
- Perform bank, credit-card, payroll, customer, and vendor reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections.
- Prepare monthly profit and loss, balance sheet, cash flow, and management reports.
- Prepare UAE VAT returns and maintain VAT records.
- Manage UAE Corporate Tax compliance activities.
- Manage UAE payroll, WPS documents, leave records, and end-of-service calculations.
- Work with management, auditors, banks, and tax advisors as needed.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of UAE accounting experience.
- At least 3 years of advanced, hands-on QuickBooks Online experience.
- Practical experience filing UAE VAT returns.
- Knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and payroll/WPS.
- Strong Excel and English skills.
- ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or a similar qualification is a plus.
- Applicants should have experience beyond invoicing, data entry, or basic bookkeeping.
Compensation
- Salary is AED 6,000 to AED 9,000 per month depending on verified experience.
Workplace
- The role is based in Dubai and requires in-person work.
