About the Role
Samar Najd Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to take full ownership of the group's finance cycle on a part-time basis. The role includes daily bookkeeping, monthly close, financial reporting, VAT returns, and Zakat filings.

Responsibilities
- Record accounting transactions in Odoo.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare journal entries and perform bank reconciliations.
- Manage petty cash and create supplier records in the accounting system.
- Maintain and archive financial documentation.
- Execute the monthly closing process.
- Prepare payroll and the Wage Protection System (WPS) file.
- Prepare the monthly management reporting package.
- Prepare accounts receivable ageing reports and follow up on collections.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts.
- Provide financial inputs to feasibility studies and project financial analysis.
- Prepare the annual financial statements file.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including proven experience in a multi entity or holding group environment
- SOCPA membership (required)
- Proficiency in the Odoo accounting system (required)
- Deep knowledge of Saudi accounting standards, ZATCA regulations, VAT, and Zakat
- Hands on experience preparing payroll and WPS files
- Fluency in Arabic and professional English
- Commitment to availability for part time schedule

About the Role
- Samar Najd Group is seeking a Senior Accountant to join on a part time basis and take full, end to end ownership of the group’s finance cycle from daily bookkeeping through to annual financial statements, VAT returns, and Zakat and income tax filings.
- We are looking for an experienced accountant who can run the finance function independently and accurately, with a firm commitment to availability during selected periods.
What You’ll Own
- Record accounting transactions in Odoo.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare journal entries and perform bank reconciliations.
- Manage petty cash and create supplier records in the accounting system.
