GEMCORE is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing family of healthcare services companies.
The position contributes to FP&A, general accounting, corporate finance, and business success.
The role offers growth opportunities and potential advancement.
Workplace and schedule
- This is a hybrid remote and in-office role based in Hudson, Ohio.
- The schedule is 8:15 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
Key responsibilities
- Record general ledger information in accordance with standards, policies, and GAAP.
- Perform monthly and quarterly close activities, including account reconciliations and analysis.
- Prepare internal and external financial statements.
- Support management reporting and external audits.
- Design and execute internal control procedures.
- Forecast revenues, expenditures, and budgets from financial commitments and obligations.
- Analyze sales and use tax laws in all 50 states and Washington, DC.
Key requirements
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field is required.
- The role requires 4-6 years of general accounting experience, including financial analysis.
- Candidates should understand accounting and cost accounting principles, practices, and concepts.
- Excellent written, verbal, technology, leadership, multitasking, interpersonal, and time management skills are required.
- Microsoft D365 experience is a plus.
- A master's degree in Finance or an MBA is a plus.
