- Identify and investigate discrepancies, anomalies, unsupported expenses, and documentation gaps
- Prepare clear and structured financial reports, findings, and exception summaries
- Conduct data analysis using large datasets, ensuring completeness and accuracy of financial information
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and project teams to resolve queries and ensure timely delivery of outputs
- Support audit, compliance reviews, agreed upon procedures, or forensic investigations, as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, or audit roles
- Proven experience in financial review, reconciliations, documentation validation, and reporting
- Hands on experience in logistics, shipping, commodity trading, supply chain, or import/export operations
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel including Pivot Tables, Lookups, and data analysis
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CMA, CA, or CIA (preferred)

Role Overview
- We are seeking highly skilled and detail oriented Senior Accountants with strong logistics and claims review experience to support a short term project in Qatar.
- The selected candidates will be responsible for conducting in depth financial reviews, validating claims, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of logistics related financial documentation.
- This role requires strong analytical capabilities, hands on exposure to logistics and supply chain operations, and the ability to identify discrepancies, unsupported costs, and compliance gaps.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform detailed financial verification and reconciliation of transactions, claims, and supporting documentation

Qualifications & Experience

- Proven experience in financial review, reconciliations, documentation validation, and reporting
- Hands on experience in logistics, shipping, commodity trading, supply chain, or import/export operations
Technical Expertise
- Strong understanding of logistics cost structures and freight charges
- Supply chain processes and operations
- Incoterms (e.g., FOB, CIF, EXW)
- Experience reviewing logistics invoices and cost allocations, shipping and customs documentation, payment evidence and shipment records
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, Lookups (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), data analysis and reconciliation of large datasets
