About the Role
SorterMarket is building an international B2B marketplace for used textiles and needs an experienced finance lead to own the full finance function. The role includes bookkeeping, financial reporting, VAT and tax compliance, and cash-flow management.

Responsibilities
- Own bookkeeping, reconciliations and month end close, and prepare financial statements to IFRS
- Run accounts receivable and payable across subscription billing, renewals, collections and supplier payments
- Manage revenue recognition across subscriptions, featured listings, advertising and commissions, with MRR and ARR reporting
- Handle UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filings, payroll and WPS, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and audit coordination
Requirements
- 5+ years of UAE accounting experience, hands on with VAT, Corporate Tax, payroll/WPS and multi company books
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field; CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA preferred
- Strong with accounting systems (Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Xero, Odoo or similar) and advanced Excel
- Fluent English, sharp attention to detail, and ability to run finance function independently

Role Overview
- We're building an international B2B marketplace for the used textiles trade, and we need an experienced finance lead to run the numbers behind it. You'll own the full finance function, from day to day bookkeeping to board ready reporting, and keep us compliant as we scale across markets.
What You'll Do
- Own bookkeeping, reconciliations and month end close, and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements to IFRS
- Run accounts receivable and payable across subscription billing, renewals, collections and supplier payments
- Manage revenue recognition across subscriptions, featured listings, advertising and commissions, with MRR and ARR reporting
- Handle UAE VAT and Corporate Tax filings, payroll and WPS, cash flow forecasting, budgeting and audit coordination
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of UAE accounting experience, hands on with VAT, Corporate Tax, payroll/WPS and multi company books
- A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA, ACCA, CMA or CA preferred
