About the Role

Responsibilities
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Perform month end and year end closing activities
- Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
- Reconcile bank accounts, intercompany balances, and all balance sheet accounts
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and company finance policies
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and cash flow reports
- Support internal and external audit requirements by providing accurate documentation
- Review payroll accounting entries and related reconciliations
- Analyze financial data and investigate variances
- Assist in improving accounting processes and internal controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
- Professional certification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a Senior Accountant role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UAE VAT regulations
- Experience working with ERP systems; Odoo experience is an advantage
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines
