Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented **Senior Accountant** with strong expertise in **Odoo ERP** to join our finance team.
The ideal candidate will independently manage accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain compliance with UAE regulations, and optimize accounting processes within the Odoo system.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations and maintain the general ledger
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Monitor cash flow, expenses, and budgeting activities
- Manage VAT filing and ensure compliance with UAE tax regulations
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Oversee invoice processing, supplier payments, and customer collections
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities
- Utilize Odoo ERP for accounting, reporting, and financial analysis
- Coordinate with auditors and support audit requirements
- Improve accounting procedures and internal controls
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 4–6 years of accounting experience (UAE/GCC experience preferred)
- Advanced working knowledge of **Odoo Accounting ERP**
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance
- Proficient in MS Excel and financial analysis
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
