About the Role
Alpha Pro Partners seeks a Senior Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensure strong financial controls. The role includes overseeing general accounting, payables/receivables, audit support, and UAE VAT/Corporate Tax compliance.

Responsibilities
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis
- Prepare and post accounting entries – AR, AP and all other transactions on daily basis
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions
- Prepare monthly financial statements, including petty cash, balance sheets, profit & loss, and cash flow statements
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections and monitor & manage cash flow on bi weekly basis
- Reconcile all company bank accounts and credit card transactions on daily basis
- Support monthly and year end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements, including filings and documentation
- Prepare schedules & documentation and manage internal and external audits
- Review and improve accounting systems, policies and internal controls and recommend corrective actions and improvements
- Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Perform ad hoc accounting tasks and financial reporting as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Commerce
- Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is an added advantage
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and UAE tax regulations
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (Macros & pivot tables) and accounting software (e.g., Sage 300, NetSuite, Oracle or similar)
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Overview
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing team.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for end to end accounting operations, financial reporting, and ensuring strong financial controls in line with company budgets and regulatory requirements.
