Carmen Perfumes is hiring a Senior Accountant for retail and manufacturing operations in Dubai, UAE.
The role requires hands-on experience in manufacturing accounting, retail operations, inventory control, and costing.
Work arrangement
- Employment type is full-time and the role is on-site in Dubai, UAE.
Key responsibilities
- Manage accounting operations across retail branches, warehouses, and manufacturing activities.
- Monitor inventory movements, stock valuation, reconciliations, physical counts, adjustments, variances, and shrinkage.
- Review manufacturing accounting, production costs, product costing, retail sales, cash collections, and petty cash.
- Handle the General Ledger, payables, receivables, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing.
- Prepare financial statements and management reports, and support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Ensure UAE tax and statutory compliance and support internal and external audits.
- Identify control weaknesses and improve accounting, inventory, and reporting processes through the ERP system.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
