Responsibilities
- Prepare and issue project invoices, including those with advance payments, progress payments, and retentions
- Monitor and track project related expenses and payments
- Maintain up to date Statements of Account for clients and suppliers
- Coordinate with procurement to generate accurate Purchase Orders
- Monitor cash flow and prepare forecasting reports
- Handle payment follow ups and manage cash collections
- Ensure full control over inventory movement, including documenting all incoming and outgoing materials and maintaining accurate inventory records
- Assist in monthly reporting, audits, and compliance
- Support financial documentation required for project handovers or certifications
Requirements
- Proven experience in accounting within the joinery and fit out industry
- Understanding of project based accounting, payment terms, and retention rules
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Tally, Zoho)
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills
