- Manage day to day accounting operations including AP, AR, general ledger, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax laws, and regulatory requirements
- Monitor project costing, revenue recognition, and expense allocations for construction and real estate projects
- Coordinate and support external audits
- Develop and implement internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- Oversee cash flow management and fund allocation across projects
- Collaborate with project managers and other departments for accurate financial tracking
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent certification preferred
- 5 7 years of experience in accounting within the construction industry
- Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and revenue recognition
- Proficiency in Zoho Books or Oracle
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience in VAT filing and compliance in UAE
- Knowledge of real estate laws, RERA compliance, and escrow account management

- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local tax laws, and regulatory requirements.

- Coordinate and support external audits and liaise with auditors.

Qualification & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA, CMA, ACCA or equivalent certification preferred).
- 5–7 years of experience in accounting within the construction industry, with exposure to real estate projects.
- Strong knowledge of project accounting, cost control, and revenue recognition principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho books or Oracle).
- Advanced MS Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Experience in VAT filing and compliance in the UAE (or applicable region).
- Knowledge of real estate laws, RERA compliance, and escrow account management.
