Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Accountant based in Dubai.
The Senior Accountant will manage general accounting operations, prepare and analyze financial statements, ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, and assist in budget preparation.
Responsibilities include overseeing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling financial discrepancies, managing audit processes, and providing support in the implementation of financial strategies.
The role requires a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to deadlines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budget preparation
- Expertise in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliation processes
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple projects and meet tight deadlines under minimal supervision
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are a significant advantage
- Experience in financial consulting or working with a tax firm is a plus
