Responsibilities
- Manage the company's day to day accounting operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Prepare management reports, financial dashboards, and KPI reports
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Maintain accurate accounting records using Xero Accounting Software
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations
- Ensure timely month end and year end closing
- Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules
- Prepare and file UAE VAT returns accurately and on time
- Prepare and file UAE Corporate Tax returns in compliance with FTA regulations
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE
- Proven experience preparing and filing UAE VAT and Corporate Tax returns
- Strong knowledge of Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations, UAE tax laws, and IFRS
- Proficient in Xero Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
- Experience preparing financial statements, management reports, cash flow reports, budgets, and financial analysis
- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), bank reconciliations, and General Ledger
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently and meet reporting deadlines
- ACCA, CPA, CMA, or CA certification is an advantage

Key Responsibilities Financial Management
- Manage the company's day to day accounting operations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Prepare management reports, financial dashboards, and KPI reports.
- Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to management.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting.
Accounting Operations
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Maintain accurate accounting records using Xero Accounting Software.
- Perform bank, supplier, and customer reconciliations.
- Ensure timely month end and year end closing.
- Maintain the general ledger and supporting schedules.
VAT & Corporate Tax
- Prepare and file UAE VAT returns accurately and on time.
- Prepare and file UAE Corporate Tax returns in compliance with FTA regulations.
- Maintain complete VAT and Corporate Tax documentation and supporting schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable UAE tax laws and regulations.
- Liaise with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regarding tax matters and audits.
- Review financial transactions to ensure correct VAT treatment.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.
- Prepare monthly management reports and financial performance analysis.
- Monitor budgets, financial variances, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Provide financial insights to support management decision making.
- Recommend cost saving initiatives and process improvements.
Compliance & Audit
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and UAE financial regulations.
- Prepare audit schedules and coordinate with external auditors.
- Maintain internal controls and accounting policies.
- Support statutory reporting and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
- Proven experience preparing and filing UAE VAT and Corporate Tax returns.
- Strong knowledge of Federal Tax Authority (FTA) regulations, UAE tax laws, and IFRS.
