- Ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies
- Collaborate with internal departments and external auditors

- Provide management with clear financial analysis and recommendations
Requirements
- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management
- Knowledge of UAE accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
- Advanced user of accounting and ERP software, along with solid skills in spreadsheets and financial modeling tools
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in professional services, consulting, or a multi service business environment
- Ability to work on site in Dubai

Role Description
- The Senior Accountant is a full time, on site role based in Dubai, responsible for managing and overseeing the company’s financial accounting and reporting activities.
- This role includes preparing and reviewing financial statements, maintaining general ledger accounts, and ensuring accurate posting of journal entries.
- The Senior Accountant will manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, reconcile bank and account balances, and monitor cash flow.
- They will oversee accounts payable and receivable, support budgeting and forecasting, and ensure compliance with local regulations, tax requirements, and internal policies.
- The role also involves collaborating with internal departments and external auditors, improving financial procedures, and providing management with clear financial analysis and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills, including general ledger management, journal entries, and preparation of financial statements.
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and variance reporting to support data driven decision making.
- Experience with accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and cash flow management.
- Knowledge of UAE accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements, including audit preparation.
- Advanced user of accounting and ERP software, along with solid skills in spreadsheets and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational abilities, and time management skills to meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CMA) is an advantage.
- Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in professional services, consulting, or a multi service business environment.
- Ability to work on site in Dubai and maintain high ethical standards, integrity, and confidentiality in handling financial information.
