Responsibilities
- Prepare and review journal entries, maintain general ledgers, and oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Reconcile bank and intercompany accounts
- Ensure accurate recording of revenue and expenses
- Monitor budgeting and cash flow
- Support audits and ensure compliance with local regulations and internal controls
- Implement process improvements in the finance function
- Collaborate with leadership and other departments to provide financial insights
Requirements
- Strong financial accounting skills including general ledger management and financial statement reporting
- Proficiency in budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management
- Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Knowledge of UAE accounting standards, VAT regulations, and audit preparation
- Advanced Excel and accounting software (ERP) skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA are an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Previous experience as Senior Accountant or similar role, preferably in UAE/GCC

Role Description
