Accountant – Limousine Company (Dubai)

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage **Profit & Loss (P&L) statements**
• Track and analyze **monthly & annual expenses**
• Monitor **cash flow, revenue, and operational costs per vehicle**
• Maintain accurate financial records using Odoo and other accounting tools
• Develop and manage **Excel-based financial models and reports**
• Handle **invoicing, receivables, and payables**
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and VAT filings
• Provide **financial insights to improve profitability**
• Work closely with management on budgeting and forecasting

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum **2 years experience in a limousine or transport company (MANDATORY)**
• Strong understanding of:
• Profit & Loss calculations
• Cost structures in transport (fuel, drivers, maintenance, Salik, etc.)
• Advanced proficiency in **Microsoft Excel**
• Experience with Odoo is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with other accounting platforms such as:
• QuickBooks
• Zoho Books
• Xero
• Knowledge of **UAE VAT regulations**
• Strong analytical and organizational skills

Language Requirements

• English: Required
• Farsi: **Bonus (not mandatory)**

What You Actually Need (Reality Check)

• Based on your business model, the accountant **must understand:**
• Profit per car (very important in limousine business)
• Cost per trip vs revenue per trip
• Driver commission structures
• Platform deductions (Uber/Careem if applicable)
• Anyone without **transport/limousine experience will struggle**, even if they’re a “good accountant”
