senior Accountant

Overview

• Prepare and review journal entries, payment vouchers, and accounting records.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Assist in budget preparation and cost control analysis.
• Reconcile bank accounts and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure accurate recording of fixed assets and depreciation.
• Review payroll accounting entries and employee-related accruals.
• Coordinate with external auditors and provide required documents.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
• Prepare financial reports and management reports as requested.
• Support internal control procedures and process improvements.
• Supervise junior accountants and provide guidance when needed.
• Monitor project costs, expenses, and allocations if related to construction/projects environment.
• Assist in ERP/accounting system implementation and improvements.
• Pay: QAR6,000.00 - QAR7,500.00 per month
• Work Location: Hybrid remote in Doha (Doha)
