Role Overview

Accounting Responsibilities

• Review, record, and process AP, GL, group transactions, and employee expenses.
• Allocate invoices, credit and debit memos, and adjustments accurately in the ERP system.
• Process AP, employee, group, and management payments.
• Handle employee expenses, reimbursements, and petty cash transactions.
• Record and maintain fixed asset and inventory records.
• Process utility invoices for Etisalat, ADDC, DEWA, and ADNOC.
• Perform monthly and annual reconciliations of AP, GL, and contra accounts.
• Assist with monthly closing and annual audit requirements.
• Prepare MIS and internal financial reports for management.
• Coordinate with departments, subsidiaries, and project managers on expense and cost matters.
• Conduct monthly petty cash counts and maintain supporting documentation.

Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Management, or a related field is required.
• At least six years of finance and accounting experience is required.
• Experience in accounts payable and financial reporting is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting procedures, policies, and ERP or accounting software is required.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills are required.
• Good written and verbal communication skills are required.
• The candidate must work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• ACCA or CMA qualification is preferred in the requirements section.

Compensation and Employment

• The position is permanent and full-time.
• Pay is listed as AED 6,000 to AED 10,000 per month.
