Overview
PLGC Landscaping LLC is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage project costing, billing, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor job-site budgets, track material and equipment expenses, and analyze individual contract profitability.
- Review client payment certificates, subcontractor invoices, and supplier accounts payable allocations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements mapped to IFRS standards.
- Manage local tax filings, including UAE VAT returns, and prepare documentation for annual financial audits.
- Perform regular general ledger, bank, and inventory reconciliations for plants, materials, and machinery.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5 to 8 years of total accounting experience, with specific background in landscaping, construction, or contracting project accounting.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and experience utilizing enterprise resource planning (ERP) or specialized contracting software.
- Solid grasp of IFRS principles and local tax compliance.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, or CMA are preferred.
Compensation
- AED 1 - 2 per month
