We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced **Senior Accountant** to join our growing team.
The ideal candidate must have proven experience in the **construction industry** and strong knowledge of accounting procedures, financial reporting, and UAE regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and job costing activities.
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, and customer ledgers.
- Handle payroll accounting, expense tracking, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and company policies.
- Coordinate with auditors and assist in year-end audit activities.
- Prepare management reports and support financial decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience, with at least 3 years in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of project accounting and cost control.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting standards.
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CMA, CPA, CA) is an advantage.
