Role Overview
Metgold FZCO is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant with hands-on experience in UAE accounting, VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, financial reporting, reconciliations, and audits.
The role maintains accurate financial records, ensures regulatory compliance, supports external audits, and coordinates with auditors, tax consultants, and financial service providers.
Accounting Operations
- Manage AP, AR, general ledger, journal entries, accruals, prepayments, invoicing, collections, and supplier payments.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables, and working capital.
- Manage intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
Tax and Compliance
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns accurately within statutory deadlines.
- Prepare and submit UAE Corporate Tax returns and ensure ongoing tax compliance.
- Maintain records in accordance with IFRS, UAE financial regulations, and internal policies.
- Maintain audit trails and internal financial controls.
