Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for clients in compliance with UAE Accounting and VAT regulations.
- Ensure all financial reports are accurate, complete, and timely, providing valuable insights to clients regarding financial performance.
- Oversee and maintain the general ledger for clients, ensuring proper classification of accounts and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Supervise the posting of journal entries, accruals, adjustments, and closing entries for month end and year end processes.
- Ensure clients' compliance with UAE VAT laws by preparing and submitting VAT returns in accordance with the Federal Tax Authority (FTA) guidelines.
- Perform and review regular reconciliations of clients' balance sheet accounts, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Investigate discrepancies, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and accounts are accurate.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 3 years in a senior role within the UAE accounting services industry
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- UAE Driving License
