Senior Accountant Analyst

Role Overview

Responsibilities

• Process high volumes of invoices accurately and on time.
• Work with the team to meet invoice processing goals and daily service-level targets.
• Code and record invoices in the accounting system.
• Investigate and resolve invoice and payment processing issues.
• Verify, classify, and record accounts payable transactions.
• Reconcile the accounts payable ledger so bills and payments are properly posted.
• Investigate vendor account and statement discrepancies.
• Facilitate invoice payments by contacting accounts payable teams and suppliers.
• Publish accounts payable aging reports, analysis, and action plans.
• Understand expense account and cost center mappings.
• Follow local tax, banking, and accounts payable compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• Experience with accounts payable concepts, practices, and procedures and SAP FICO.
• Fast data entry skills and strong technology proficiency.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, resourcefulness, and accuracy.
• Analytical ability to investigate, diagnose, and resolve invoice issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving practices.
• Customer service, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and ability to work under strict timelines.
• Readiness to work in shifts.

Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of two years of work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce from a recognized university.
• Good knowledge of SAP, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint.

Workplace

• The position is classified as hybrid, with regular work both onsite and offsite.
