About The Role
We are looking for a highly skilled **Senior Accountant** to manage and oversee daily accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance.
The ideal candidate has strong experience in the UAE market, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently with accuracy and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full accounting cycle including **AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations**
- Prepare **monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements**
- Handle **VAT filing, compliance, and reporting**
- Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting
- Review and verify financial transactions and documentation
- Coordinate with auditors for annual audits
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with UAE regulations
- Support management with financial analysis and decision‑making
- Implement and improve internal controls and accounting procedures
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in **Accounting, Finance**
- Minimum **5–7 years of accounting experience**, preferably in the UAE
- Strong knowledge of **UAE VAT laws** and financial reporting standards
- Proficiency in **accounting software**
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Professional certifications (CPA, ACCA, CMA) are an advantage
