Position Overview
Senior Accountant position based in Doha, Qatar.
Employment type is stated as outsourcing or secondment under a long-term contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review financial statements and management reports.
- Maintain accurate and timely accounting records and financial reporting.
- Support and coordinate external audits by providing schedules and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS requirements.
- Use ERP systems, preferably SAP FI, for accounting and financial transactions.
- Perform financial analysis and support management reporting.
- Handle day-to-day accounting activities and maintain accurate financial data.
- Support reporting deadlines and maintain strong internal controls.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- A professional accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or CMA is preferred, or the candidate may be pursuing one.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in the GCC.
- Experience with ERP systems is required, with SAP FI preferred.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
