Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least five years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and accounting principles.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting or ERP systems, including Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience in financial reporting, reconciliations, and month-end closing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Arabic language skills are an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
• Prepare journal entries, accruals, prepayments, and fixed asset schedules.
• Perform bank, supplier, customer, and General Ledger reconciliations.
• Handle monthly and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor receivables, payables, and supplier payments.
• Prepare and reconcile UAE VAT returns and ensure FTA compliance.
• Assist with budgeting, cash flow, and financial analysis.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
• Support management with financial analysis and reporting when required.

Pay

• AED 6,000 to AED 7,000 per month.

Work Location

• Work is performed in person.
