Role overview
The Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting and general ledger activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least five years of relevant accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax.
- Odoo experience is mandatory, with three years specified in the source.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.
- Prepare VAT returns and support UAE Corporate Tax compliance.
- Maintain fixed asset, prepaid expense, and accrual schedules.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing.
- Coordinate with auditors and ensure proper supporting documentation.
- Monitor customer collections and outstanding balances.
- Ensure accounting records and internal controls are accurate.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 10,000 per month.
