Role Overview
Emirates Markets LLC is hiring a Senior Accountant in Ras Al Khaimah.
The role supports financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, closing, reporting, payments, and audit activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- At least five years of accounting experience.
- Retail or hypermarket industry experience is mandatory.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and general ledger.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records.
- Perform bank and account reconciliations.
- Process payments, invoices, and journal entries.
- Assist with monthly and yearly financial closing.
- Prepare financial reports and support audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
