Senior Accountant

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoices, vouchers, ledgers, and journal entries.
• Perform bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
• Manage GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances within applicable deadlines.
• Assist with income tax, audits, and financial documentation.
• Monitor receivables and payables and follow up on settlements.
• Coordinate with chartered accountants, auditors, banks, vendors, and consultants.
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and maintain compliant documentation.
• Support budgeting, cash-flow monitoring, and other financial analysis.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least four years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of Tally or Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, taxation, bookkeeping, and accounting principles.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.

Compensation

• Pay ranges from ₹20,000 to ₹45,000 per month.

Workplace

• The work location is in person at JP Nagar, Bangalore.
