Rashidoon is seeking a Senior Accountant for its Finance Department.

The role covers accounting operations, financial closing, reconciliations, accounts payable and receivable, and project and contract accounting.

The position supports accurate records, financial reporting, and Saudi accounting, Zakat, and tax compliance.

Review daily accounting entries, classifications, supporting documents, cost centers, and project allocations.
Perform and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
Prepare reconciliations, analyze variances, and support trial balances and periodic financial reports.
Assist the Finance Manager with financial analysis and management reporting.

Review supplier invoices and supporting documents before recording and payment.
Monitor supplier balances, payment schedules, and outstanding liabilities.
Follow up on customer invoices, claims, collections, and receivables aging.
Reconcile supplier and customer accounts and monitor advances, custody accounts, and prepayments.

Prepare and review bank reconciliations and resolve outstanding transactions.
Review payments, receipts, and banking transactions for accurate accounting treatment.
Monitor bank balances and coordinate related financial transactions.

Record and review project and contract revenues, costs, and expenses.
Allocate costs to the appropriate projects and cost centers.
Monitor project claims, invoices, and collections.
Prepare project cost, profitability, budget-versus-actual, and variance reports.
Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate and complete financial information.

Support data preparation for VAT, withholding tax, and Zakat.
Ensure invoices and supporting documents comply with e-invoicing and regulatory requirements.
Prepare documentation for internal and external audits.
Support financial policies, procedures, and internal controls while maintaining confidentiality.

Review fixed asset registers, depreciation records, and asset reconciliations.
Review transactions recorded in accounting and ERP systems.
Ensure the accuracy and quality of financial data generated by accounting systems.
Prepare reconciliations, reports, and financial analyses using Microsoft Excel.

Bachelor's degree in accounting; an accounting major is strongly preferred.
Four to seven years of relevant accounting experience.
Experience with general accounting, monthly closing, payables, receivables, and bank reconciliations.
Experience with project accounting, cost centers, and project profitability analysis.
Good knowledge of IFRS and Saudi Zakat, VAT, and withholding tax requirements.
Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency and practical accounting or ERP systems experience.
Strong analytical skills and good English proficiency for financial documentation.

Experience in contracting, consulting, or project-based environments is preferred.
Experience with project claims, collections, project costing, profitability, tax, e-invoicing, and external auditors is advantageous.
SOCPA, CMA, ACCA, or CertIFR certification is an added advantage and is not mandatory.
Arabic and professional English proficiency are required for the role.
