Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily invoicing and billing processes for accuracy and policy compliance.
• Prepare and file GST, TDS, and other statutory returns accurately and on time.
• Generate and manage e-way bills for transportation of goods.
• Review financial documents and records for accuracy, completeness, and accounting-standard compliance.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and reports, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Coordinate with inventory staff to maintain accurate stock records and valuations.
• Perform regular bank, vendor, and customer reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal accounting and tax regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Five to seven years of accounting experience is required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or factory environment is preferred.
• Proficiency in Tally ERP 9 or higher is required.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other tax regulations is required.
• Analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are required.

Preferred Knowledge

• Knowledge of Zoho Books is preferred.
• Export knowledge is preferred.

Compensation

• Pay is ₹30,000 to ₹35,000 per month.

Workplace

• The role is performed in person at the factory location in Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.

Employment Type

• The position is full-time and permanent.
