About the Role

The Senior Accountant will own core financial operations across Radiant’s fast-scaling platform and help build the finance function.

The role works with the Head of Group Reporting, Finance Manager, and senior finance management.

The position covers AR/AP, month-end and year-end close, reconciliations, entity setup, audit processes, and strategic reporting.

The role includes mentoring junior team members and working across multiple jurisdictions.

What You’ll Do

Own revenue and accounts receivable and expenses and accounts payable processes, including controls, accuracy, collections, and payment approvals.
Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close, including journals, accruals, management schedules, and timely reporting.
Oversee revenue billing and reconciliations and resolve external discrepancies.
Prepare year-end financial statements, supporting schedules, disclosures, and technical accounting decisions.
Coordinate external audits, deliverables, technical accounting questions, and audit matter resolution.
Lead finance and accounting work for new global entity setups across multiple jurisdictions.
Mentor and review junior team members and build their technical skills and quality control.
Collaborate with finance colleagues and business stakeholders on accurate financial information flows.
Drive improvements in financial controls, accounting processes, and reporting procedures.

What You’ll Bring

Fully qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification and 4–7 years of accounting experience.
Experience may be from public accounting or industry roles, ideally in multi-entity or international environments.
Strong Excel capabilities, accounting system knowledge, and ability to learn new tools and processes quickly.
Strong technical accounting and financial reporting skills, including accounting standards and controls.
Meticulous attention to detail, analytical thinking, problem-solving ability, communication, and stakeholder management.
Ability to mentor junior team members and strong organization and time management skills.

Nice to Have

Experience with multi-entity consolidation and group financial reporting.
Experience with Xero, NetSuite, or an equivalent modern accounting platform.
Exposure to energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive industries.
Experience with regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Success Measures

Financial operations, AR/AP, and month-end close are accurate, timely, and predictable.

Junior team members develop stronger skills and ownership.

External auditors receive clean documentation and prompt query resolution.

The accountant becomes a trusted voice on technical accounting and financial implications.

Process improvements and stronger controls help the finance function scale.
