Role Description

  • We are seeking a dynamic and experienced sales professional to join our team.
  • This role is pivotal in driving sales revenue, focusing on nurturing existing client relationships, developing new business opportunities, and regaining lost clients.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong sales acumen, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record in achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long lasting customer relationships with existing accounts.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through proactive outreach and networking.
  • Implement initiatives to regain lost clients by understanding reasons for attrition and addressing concerns effectively.
  • Respond timely to client requests for quotations and proposals, ensuring accuracy and competitiveness.
  • Enter customer orders accurately and efficiently into the ERP system, ensuring timely processing and fulfillment.
  • Maintain comprehensive and up to date customer information in the CRM system, including contact details, interactions, and preferences.
  • Provide technical advice and product knowledge to customers, guiding them in making informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with customers to resolve issues and complaints promptly, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to junior sales team members, fostering a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical, materials, or industrial engineering, architecture, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in sales in the metal industry, with a minimum of 10 years in a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong closing skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
  • A proactive and self motivated approach to work, with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction.
