Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to drive revenue growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at strategic accounts.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand Ansysu2019 footprint within assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to deliver tailored presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Negotiate complex contracts and manage the sales process from prospecting to closure.
  • Maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet revenue targets and ensure accurate reporting through CRM systems such as Salesforce.
  • Monitor account performance, analyze sales data, and present insights and progress reports to senior leadership.
  • Provide market feedback to support product innovation and inform go-to-market strategies.
  • Track industry trends and competitor activities to position Ansys as a solutions leader.
  • Lead and manage a team of Account Representatives (ARs) and Account Managers (AMs).

Qualifications

  • Bacheloru2019s or masteru2019s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field, with 10+ years of experience in technical or solution-based sales; MBA degree is desirable.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience leading and managing a sales team
  • Proven experience in engineering or simulation software sales (e.g., Ansys) with strong understanding of industries such as aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, or manufacturing.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes and account management principles.
  • Experience using CRM tools, especially Salesforce, for pipeline and data management.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs, competitor activity, and market trends to inform account strategy.
  • Proficiency in preparing business cases, quotations, and contract documentation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of the Middle East business landscape, with an established network and the ability to build strong relationships with key decision-makers.
