About the Role
Cognite is seeking a seasoned Senior Account Manager to nurture long-term relationships with key accounts in the Oil & Gas sector. You will drive expansions, secure renewals, and develop trusted advisor relationships with C-level stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Manage the relationship with Cognite’s most valuable customers
- Develop a trusted advisor relationship with key stakeholders and executive sponsors
- Ensure all Cognite activities align with the customer's business case and strategy
- Drive expansions and secure renewals for assigned accounts
- Develop value roadmaps and account plans
- Work with Sales organization to close upsell/cross sell opportunities
- Communicate product roadmap to customers
- Serve as the voice of the customer to product management and customer community
- Collaborate with Field Marketing/Account Development team for customer engagement
- Identify and assess renewal risks for customers’ license subscriptions
- Collaborate with ecosystem of Cognite partners to maximize value generation
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in leading customer engagements as an Account Manager or related role
- Demonstrable track record in account management methodologies including segmentation, customer journey, and customer health scoring
- Commercial experience in renewals and upselling
- Track record of expanding complex enterprise deals
- SaaS, Data Platforms and Oil & Gas background
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Verbal skills in Arabic are an advantage
- Proven experience selling at C Level both in business and IT
- Experience collaborating with channel partners
- Experience working at a high growth scale up organization
- Familiarity with Salesforce, MEDDPICC, and Clari
