Role Overview

The Senior Account Director leads Kijamii’s UAE client business across both retainers and campaign-based work, owning client relationships, commercial performance, and delivery quality.

This role is responsible for growing existing business, supporting new business efforts, and ensuring seamless coordination across Kijamii’s integrated regional teams to deliver high-quality, effective work.

The position is hands-on and requires a strong balance between client leadership, commercial ownership, and operational execution.

Responsibilities And Tasks

  • Own and grow Kijamii’s UAE client portfolio, with full responsibility over revenue, profitability, and client satisfaction.
  • Lead the strategic direction of UAE clients, ensuring all work aligns with business objectives and delivers measurable impact.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, acting as a trusted partner and advisor.
  • Own all commercial aspects across UAE accounts, including scopes, pricing, proposals, renewals, and financial accuracy.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery across retainers and campaigns, ensuring quality, timelines, and operational excellence.
  • Act as the main escalation point for UAE clients and internal teams, resolving issues quickly and effectively.
  • Drive collaboration across Cairo, Riyadh, and Dubai teams to deliver integrated, high-quality output.
  • Proactively identify and drive growth opportunities within existing clients, including upselling, cross-selling, and new initiatives.
  • Lead and support new business efforts in the UAE, working closely with the Business Development Manager on pitches and opportunities.
  • Manage and develop the UAE account management team while ensuring efficient resource utilization across supporting teams.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in related field

Experience

  • 8–12 years in an advertising/creative/digital agency.
  • Experience in the UAE/GCC market.

Skills

  • Native or fluent Arabic speaker
  • Strong client leadership and relationship-building skills.
  • Solid commercial understanding (pricing, scopes, profitability).
  • Hands-on approach with high ownership and accountability.
  • Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset.
