Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Account Director – GCC

to lead and grow GFT’s strategic client relationships across the Gulf region.

The role is

based in Dubai

and requires strong, established relationships within regional financial institutions.

As a senior client partner, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding strategic accounts, and positioning GFT as a long-term transformation partner for banks and financial services organizations across the GCC.

You will operate as a trusted advisor to C‑level stakeholders, aligning GFT’s global capabilities with clients’ digital, cloud, and data transformation agendas.

This is a highly autonomous, senior role with direct ownership of account strategy, commercial outcomes, and executive-level relationships.

Account Ownership

  • Own and grow a portfolio of strategic financial services accounts across the GCC region
  • Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities within existing and new client accounts
  • Develop multi-year account strategies covering digital banking, cloud, data, AI, and modernization programs
  • Lead commercial negotiations, contract structures, and account governance to ensure sustainable growth and profitability

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with CIOs, CTOs, COOs, Heads of Digital, and Business Leaders
  • Act as the single strategic owner for client engagements, ensuring alignment between client priorities and GFT delivery
  • Lead regular executive engagements, steering committees, and quarterly business reviews

Delivery & Global Collaboration

  • Work closely with GFT’s global delivery, engineering, and solution teams to ensure successful execution and high client satisfaction
  • Translate business challenges into scalable technology solutions leveraging GFT’s global delivery model
  • Ensure delivery quality, risk management, and value realization across all client engagements

Ecosystem & Market Presence

  • Drive engagement with regional and global technology partners (cloud hyperscalers and fintech ecosystems)
  • Represent GFT in regional industry events, client forums, and partner engagements across the GCC
  • Strengthen GFT’s brand and market presence within the Middle East financial services community

Required Skills & Experience

  • **15+ years**
  • of experience in strategic account management, enterprise sales, or senior consulting roles within: Financial services, Technology consulting, or Digital transformation programs
  • Proven success managing
  • large, complex enterprise accounts
  • and delivering multi-million-dollar programs
  • Strong understanding of: Digital Banking & Payments, Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Data, AI, and Modernization programs
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior executives and C‑suite stakeholders
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in deal structuring and long-term account planning
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate independently in a growth-focused environment
  • **Fluent English is required; Arabic is a strong advantage**
  • **Established professional network within GCC Tier 1 and Tier 2 financial institutions is highly desirable**
  • **Must currently live in Dubai (applications from outside Dubai will not be considered)**
