Role overview
Work within Oldham Council’s Education Intelligence team to support national Special Educational Needs and Disabilities reforms.
Use Excel, Power BI, SQL and Microsoft Fabric across analyses and projects, including dashboards and complex forecasting tools.
Provide insight and intelligence that supports children and young people with SEND.
Key responsibilities
- Produce dashboards, analyses and reports for stakeholders to support reporting and decision-making.
- Develop forecasting and other tools to understand future trends and the impact of change programmes.
- Build relationships across SEND and Education and with partners in health and other organisations.
- Advise on intelligence, insight, data collation and data quality.
- Ensure statutory and other obligations for data and statistical returns are fulfilled.
- Provide robust, accurate and consistent data and evidence.
Key requirements
- Experience analysing data and interpreting statistical data in a large, complex organisation.
- Knowledge of synthesising and analysing large, complex multidimensional data from multiple and differing sources.
- Experience presenting intelligence and insight in formats suited to different audiences.
