Role Description
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Security Training Officer to be responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating security training programs to ensure that all security personnel are properly trained in policies, procedures, emergency response, and regulatory compliance.
The role supports organizational safety by maintaining high training standards and ensuring personnel readiness.
*Main Duties & Responsibilities:*
Develops and delivers training programs to security personnel and staff
Design, create, and update training materials, lesson plans, presentations, and, in some cases, budgetary requirements for security training programs
Conduct in-person and online training sessions, including new hire orientation, mandatory licensing training, and on-the-job training
Assess trainee needs, conduct tests, and evaluate training effectiveness, providing feedback to personnel and management ensure compliance with regulatory standards and company policies to enhance proficiency.
Ensure all training meets legal, contractual, and company requirements
Implement drills, conduct practical sessions and On the Job training
Conducts and assists in the development and implementation of trainings related to assigned training programs (Security and Operations, Recertification) based on the identified programmatic and/or company needs while utilizing various training modalities including, but not limited to virtual, in person, and eLearning platforms.
Effectively conducts and co-facilitates in cross trained programmatic areas, as needed, and adjusts training delivery styles to meet the needs of participants based on adult learning theory best practices.
Accurately completes and submits paperwork for training records. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills effectively and clearly by responding, reporting, and communicating with training participants, co-facilitators, training managers, and required programmatic division/company staff, as required, regarding training information as deemed necessary and appropriate.
Conducts formal and informal needs assessments by applying analytical skills in collecting information that identifies gaps as it relates to the training of employees Maintains and further develops specialized knowledge and expertise in core competencies for trainers.
Obtains and maintains required instructor certifications in Nationally recognized and/or accredited training programs to have and possess the knowledge, ability, and capacity to deliver.

***Diploma Requirement:***
Bachelor's degree.
Years of Experience:
Min 5 (five) years of military/Police background/experience
Min 3 (three) years of proven experience in security
Min 3 (three) years of proven experience in a similar role (security instructor/security training facilitator, officer, specialist)
Languages required:
Fluently read, speak, comprehend and compose coherent written material in Arabic Fluently read, speak, comprehend and compose coherent written material in English
Technical Skills
Strong interpersonal skills Ability to work well under pressure Ability to analyze training/development needs Proficiency in MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power point) Problem solving
Must be able to work with other training team members Extensive experience in writing, editing, and overseeing the production of high-quality documents and visual presentations
Ability to work independently, with little supervision
Industry-Specific Skills
Deep understanding of security, safety practices, and risk assessment
Strong presentation skills to convey complex security concepts to diverse audiences.
Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulations Proficiency in using safety equipment (recommended)
Certified First Aider Trainer
Certified Instructor by a recognized training entit
