Security Systems Design Engineer

• Basic Qualifications:
• High school diploma or state-recognized GED; OR Candidates with at least 3 years of security access control and CCTV system design experience will also be considered
• Must be able to demonstrate :
• Knowledge of engineering fundamentals of security access control and CCTV systems or equivalent field experience with security system controls
• Knowledge of the following access control system components: access control panels, door lock power supplies, card readers (proximity, keypad, biometric), door locks ( mag-lock , electric strike, electric mortise), and request-to-exit devices (manual and passive infrared)
• Knowledge of the following CCTV system components: coaxial and ethernet cameras (fixed, PTZ, 180-deg, 360-deg), camera mounts (ceiling, wall, pendant, parapet, indoor/outdoor), ethernet IP addressing, ethernet limitations, ethernet switches and patch panels, and power-over-ethernet (PoE)
• The a bility to read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams
• 2+ Experience with M icrosoft Office and AutoCAD
• V erbal and written communication skills in English
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate degree
• Revit experience

• The pay range for this position is $50,908 - $87,271 annually. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
