Responsibilities
- Lead a high performing and diverse team of security officers
- Provide a security service in line with the site SOPs and client's requirements to protect the client’s employees, property and other assets
- Develop stakeholder relationships and provide detailed reports on site's operations and compliance to Securitas management
- Design and deliver structured training, including introductions, refreshers, and scenario based exercises
- Monitor performance of Security Officers and provide coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback
- Conduct post incident debriefs and integrate lessons learned into team developments
- Undertake regular risk assessments and compliance audits across sites with the Contract Security Manager
- Support the Contract Security Manager in preparing client reports, business cases, and incident reviews
- Analyse incident trends and prepare summary reports with recommendations for improvement
- Coordinate security coverage and resources during relocations, events, and business continuity activities
- Liaise with client representatives and external agencies, including emergency services during escalated incidents
- Work collaboratively with the contract security manager on security related projects and initiatives
Requirements
- Hold a current VIC Security licence
- First Aid Certificate (HLTAID011 and HLTAID010) and CPR Certificate (HLTAID009)
- Minimum 10 years of security experience and a minimum 3 years of Corporate Site Manager/Operations Manager experience
- Intermediate experience with computer software/systems i.e. Microsoft Suite, Visitor Sign in system, CCTV platforms etc
- The ability to deliver pre assignment training and onboarding processes to ensure contractual compliance
- Demonstrated experience in emergency management principles and procedures
- Proven experience in supervising and leading large security teams
- Strong Communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Customer Service experience essential

Job Description
- Our client is a High Profile Retail Brand located in Hawthorn East. We are seeking an experienced Security Operations Manager to be responsible for management of the day to day operations of Security services at our client locations.
- The Security Operations Manager will be required to ensure delivery of services is met and exceeded in respect to Key Performance Indicators and be responsible for planning and assisting the client in project management and implementation of new technologies, processes and procedures aimed at enhanc
- The successful applicant will be required work from the clients Hawthorn East location, with the ability to work at the client’s Docklands location when required.
