As a Security Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and monitoring the bank's cryptographic assets across all use cases, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of critical data.

Working as part of a global 24/7 security operations team, you will provide both business-as-usual (BAU) support and participate in an on-call rota, helping to maintain the resilience, security, and availability of Barclays' cryptographic infrastructure.

To be successful as a Security Operations Manager, you should have experience with;

Crypto knowledge including Post Quantum,
Experience of setting up and running operational and exec level reporting capabilities, running a programme of improvements and team management/prioritisation to deliver that and stakeholder management to support it.
Previous crypto engineering knowledge (CLM platform knowledge from initial design)

Purpose of the role

To manage and monitor the banks cryptographic assets, for all use cases, whilst ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and authenticity of sensitive data, both through BAU support and On-Call support as part of a 24/7 global team.

Accountabilities

Collaboration with internal and external customers and stakeholders to understand and identify cryptographic needs across the organisation, sharing best practices including solutions to business applications and processes.
Execution of security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities in cryptographic implementations and procedures and guide the implementation of mitigation strategies and communicate findings to relevant findings to relevant senior stakeholders.

To contribute or set strategy, drive requirements and make recommendations for change. Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/ processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures..
