Security Operations Center Supervisor

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day Control Room operations across multiple Monash sites.
• Provide leadership, guidance and support to Control Room Officers and the wider security team.
• Monitor CCTV, access control, alarms and other security systems to identify and respond to potential risks.
• Take ownership of security incidents, coordinating appropriate responses and escalating matters where required.
• Coordinate with security officers, emergency services and key stakeholders during incidents and emergencies.
• Ensure Control Room procedures, incident response protocols and escalation processes are followed.
• Review and oversee incident reports, ensuring investigations and documentation are accurate, detailed and completed to a high standard.
• Conduct regular checks and testing of security systems to ensure operational readiness.
• Maintain clear communication across the Control Room and wider security team.
• Support the ongoing improvement of Control Room processes, procedures and security operations.
• Assist with coaching, training and performance support of Control Room personnel.

Ideal candidates will have:

Requirements

• Full Australian working rights.
• Valid Victorian Security License with the control room subcategory.
• Working with children check (or willing to obtain).
• Valid First Aid and CPR (or willing to obtain).
• Victorian Drivers License.
• Availability to work a rotating 24/7 roster
• Master License Number: 409-987-30S
