Role Overview
The employer is seeking a SOC Lead with 8+ years of experience to lead its Security Operations Center in Bangalore.
The role combines technical cyber defense, SOC leadership, team mentoring, strategic pre-sales, and enterprise security solution architecture.
SOC Operations and Technical Leadership
- Direct daily operations of the multi-tier L1, L2, and L3 SOC team, including incident validation, prioritization, and response execution.
- Architect and optimize SIEM/SOAR platforms, threat intelligence integrations, and threat-hunting workflows.
- Author standard operating procedures, high-fidelity use cases, and automated playbooks while ensuring SLA compliance and root cause analysis.
- Guide proactive threat hunting, complex forensics, and sophisticated malware analysis.
Strategic Pre-Sales and Architecture
- Partner with sales and account teams to capture opportunities, lead technical client presentations, and deliver platform demonstrations.
- Translate client security requirements into high-level architectures, pricing structures, and tailored MSSP models.
- Serve as technical authority for RFPs and RFIs, drafting proposals and preparing effort estimations.
